<b>Lay summary and brief biological or clinical significance</b><div>A human cancer cell is shown in the act of dividing. This cancer cell has been experimentally manipulated to contain a protein that drives the spread of the cancer through the body. Understanding the process of cancer cell division and the molecular pathways involved allows us to identify new strategies for the selective killing of rapidly dividing cancer cells.<br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Technical summary</b><br></div><div>Human U2OS osteosarcoma cells were transfected with YFP-EML1-NTD and fixed in ice-cold methanol and stained with antibodies against GFP (green) and α-tubulin (red). DNA was stained with Hoechst 33258 (blue).<br></div><div><br></div><div>Imaging Details<br></div><div><table>
